2016 (Sophomore) 

    Indoor: Was named to the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team. Finished 10^th in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 14.55m and 12^th in the weight throw with a mark of 12.78m. Threw a personal-best mark of 13.10m in the shot put at the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash which was more than a half meter improvement from his freshman year.

    Outdoor: Was named to the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team. He finished eighth in the hammer throw at the LSC Championships with a throw of 152-3 (46.41m). He also finished 16^th in the discus with a mark of 126-0 (38.41m) at the championships. He had a personal-best throw of 159-1 (48.49m) at the WT Classic & Multi where he finished sixth. Had a seasonal-best mark of 413-2 (43.63m) in the discus at the same meet.

2015 (Freshman)

• PRs this season included 12.88m (shot put), 45.97m (discus), & 45.91m (hammer throw)
• LSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll

High School: Graduated from Tascosa High School in 2014...State and regional qualifier as a thrower...Threw 166'-9" in discus...A-Honor Roll member...Also a letterwinner in football for three years. 

Personal: Born Oct. 19, 1995...Son of Janet and Bobby Ferrin...Majoring in History at West Texas A&M.
