In Paula's first season with the Lady Buffs she competed in the 100m and was a member of the All-American 4x100m relay. At the LSC Championship Paula placed third in the 100m with a time of 12.03. She also contributed to the first place finish by the Lady Buffs 4x100m relay who finished with a time of 46.23. Paula ran her season best 100m of 11.99 at the Texs Tech Open. As a member of the 4x100m relay Paula competed at the Division II Track and Field National Championship where they placed sixth with a time of 46.32.

Paula is a St. Louis native and a transfer from New Mexico Junior College.
