CANYON, Texas – The Patriots of Dallas Baptist ran their win streak to seven matches on Friday night as they topped the West Texas A&M Lady Buffs (16-25, 22-25, 22-25) in Lone Star Conference action at the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas.

The Lady Buffs finished the night with 29 kills on 101 swings with 19 errors to hit .099 as a team with 24 assists, five aces, eight blocks and 40 digs. DBU registered 45 kills on 108 attempts with 15 errors for an attack percentage of .278 with 44 assists, six aces, six blocks and 46 digs.

Kaycee Cavanaugh led the way for the Lady Buffs as the junior had eight kills on 23 swings with eight errors to hit .087 on the night with two assists, an ace, six digs and four blocks.
Skyler Massey continued her strong freshman campaign with six kills followed by
Anna Ruter and
Casey Loewer with five each,
Hannah Pemberton dished out a team-best 10 assists to go along with eight digs while
Avery Ramos led the way in the back row with 12 digs.

The Lady Buffs close out the weekend on Saturday afternoon as they make their way to Denton, Texas to take on the Pioneers of Texas Woman's with first serve set for 2:00 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
