CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs picked up their second Lone Star Conference win of the season on Saturday afternoon as they topped the Pioneers of Texas Woman's (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23) at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton.

The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon with 54 kills on 162 swings with 22 attack errors to hit .198 as a team with 48 assists, 10 aces, 77 digs and seven total blocks. TWU had 161 attempts as they finished with 57 kills and 21 errors to hit .224 as a team with 55 assists, three aces, 79 digs and 12 blocks.

Kaycee Cavanaugh registered a double-double for the Lady Buffs as the junior had 13 kills and 17 digs to go along with a pair of blocks.
Skyler Massey finished with 11 kills followed by
Anna Ruter and
Parker Gladhill with six each.
Hannah Pemberton and
Casey Loewer dished out 21 assists each with Pemberton also tallying 12 digs,
Avery Ramos led the way in the back for WT with 22 digs in the win.

The Lady Buffs return to LSC action on Tuesday night as they make their way to Wichita Falls, Texas to take on the Midwestern State Mustangs with first serve set for 6:00 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
