Tom Brown has announced the addition of Las Cruces, New Mexico standout Ben Walton for the 2026-27 season.

"We are excited to welcome Ben Walton to the program. He is a team player that wants to win!" said Coach Brown "He is a great young man with a bright future at West Texas A&M."

The 6'5 guard joins the Buffs following a stellar high school career at Las Cruces High School where he earned District 3-5A honors this past season guiding the Bulldawgs to the NMAA Class 5A State Quarterfinals. Walton averaged 14 points, six rebounds and five assists per game during his senior campaign. Â
