CANYON, Texas – The #3 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M ran their win streak to eight games on Sunday afternoon as they picked up a pair of Lone Star Conference run-rule victories over the Sul Ross State Lobos in Alpine, Texas..

WT returns to Schaeffer Park on Friday as they host St. Edward's in an LSC doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m. in Canyon.

Game 1 – West Texas A&M 9, Sul Ross State 0 (5 Innings)
The Lady Buffs got on the board in the top of the first inning as Abby Howell doubled to left field to score Bella Holland followed by a Trinity Kuntz sac fly to plate Jordyn De Los Santos for the 2-0 lead.
