CANYON, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M return to the course on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday as they take part in the Las Vegas Desert Classic hosted by the University of Missouri St. Louis at Boulder Creek Golf Club (Par 72 – 7,421 Yards) in Boulder City, Nevada.
The event allows some of the top teams in the country to preview the host course for the NCAA Division II National Championships on May 18-22.
The 20-team field features: Cal State East Bay, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M, Cal State San Bernardino, CSU Pueblo, Cal State Monterey Bay, Colorado Mesa, West Florida, Colorado School of Mines, Oklahoma Christian, DBU, Colorado Christian, Lincoln Memorial, UMSL, Southwestern Oklahoma State, UT Tyler, UIndy, North Georgia, Florida Southern and Central Missouri.
The Buffs will be paired with UMSL, Colorado School of Mines and Florida Southern during the opening round on Sunday with a shotgun start beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT.
