CANYON, Texas – The #8 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M connected 17 times from behind the arc on Sunday afternoon with seven of them coming from senior
Zoey McBroom in a 93-63 Lone Star Conference road victory over the Sul Ross State Lobos at the Gallego Center in Alpine, Texas.

The 17 three-pointers by the Lady Buffs are just two shy of the Lone Star Conference single-game record of 19 (Texas A&M-Kingsville at Texas A&M International, 2009) while McBroom's seven long balls ranks tied for fourth most by a Lady Buff in a game in program history.Â

Taylor Haggan's early layup set the tone, as the team quickly built a significant lead.
