AMARILLO, Texas – West Texas A&M graduate student Anna Nomrowski became the third Lady Buff in program history to win an individual NCAA regional title. The Neuss, Germany native finished in a tie for first with Midwestern State's Brecklyn Flanagan, prevailing on the first playoff hole four strokes to five.
 
Midwestern State and Dallas Baptist tied atop the team standings at 29-over (881), forcing a playoff for the regional championship. The Mustangs defeated the Patriots 16 strokes to 17 on the first playoff hole.
 
Following Nomrowski on the individual leaderboard was Gam Songprasert. Songprasert finished tied for third at five-over (218) after rounds of even-par (71) and three-over (74) on Wednesday. Antonella Periotti Omisolo tied for 33^rd at 12-over (225) with Kara Holm one stroke back in a tie for 38^th. Charlee Thacker finished out the tournament for the Lady Buffs, posting scores of six-over (77) and one-over (72) to help WT advance to the NCAA National Tournament.
 
West Texas A&M will play at the NCAA Division II National Championships on May 12-17 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. along with Midwestern State, Dallas Baptist, Cal State San Marcos, and Cal State East Bay. UT Tyler's Arnie Taguines and Western Washington's Lauren F. Lee advanced as individuals.
