CANYON, Texas – The #9 Lady Buffs entered Saturday afternoon tied atop of the Lone Star Conference standings with UT Tyler before a sweep by West Texas A&M (27-25, 25-18, 25-21) over the Patriots in Tyler, Texas extended the WT win streak to nine matches.

The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon with 43 kills on 132 swings with 15 attack errors to hit .212 as a team with 39 assists, six aces, 60 digs and 13 blocks in the win. UT Tyler had 39 kills on 134 attempts with 24 errors for a .112 attack percentage to go along with 39 assists, two aces, 67 digs and four blocks.

Camy Jones led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs as the senior had 13 kills on 30 swings with just one attack error to hit .400 on the afternoon with one dig and five blocks,
Currie Marusak continued to impress for the Lady Buffs as the Amarillo product had 10 kills.
Ainsley Malis dished out a team-high 20 assists to go along with six digs while
Bryli Contreras had 29 digs in the back row.

Kota Hartman registered 13 kills on 44 swings with eight attack errors to hit .114 on the afternoon for the Patriots to go along with eight digs. Saige Rivera led all players with 33 assists to go along with eight digs while Addison Evans finished the afternoon with 12 digs and five assists.

- West Texas A&M is now 8-3 all-time against the Patriots in a series that dates back to 2019, WT is 2-2 all-time at the Herrington Patriot Center
