CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M rebounded on Saturday afternoon as they closed out their Lone Star Conference road trip with a 69-63 victory over the Cameron Aggies at Aggie Gym in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Nyalam Thabach led the way for the Lady Buffs as the senior from Boise, Idaho went 6-of-9 from the floor and a perfect 3-of-3 from the stripe for a team-high 15 points to go along with 10 rebounds and a block for her fifth double-double of the season.
Hollie Stalder also reached double-digits as the sophomore scored 12 points to go along with three boards, one steal, one assist and a block.

The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon going 25-of-58 (43.1%) from the floor including 7-of-27 (25.9%) from behind the arc and 12-of-20 (60%) from the free throw line to go along with 28 rebounds (nine offensive, 19 defensive), seven assists, 13 turnovers, four steals and two blocks.

Katie King led the way for the Aggies as the junior guard went 8-of-18 from the field including 3-of-5 from deep and 4-of-6 from the line for a game-high 23 points to go along with six boards, two assists and two steals. The Aggies finished the game going 25-of-57 (43.9%) from deep including 4-of-10 (40%) from deep and 9-of-14 (64.3%) from the free throw line to go along with 32 rebounds, nine assists, 14 turnovers, six steals and a block.

The Lady Buffs return to action on Thursday night as they host the rival Belles of Angelo State in Lone Star Conference action with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.
