D2CCA All-America Teams
 
WEST HAVEN, Conn. – After an outstanding senior campaign, Julius Brown added Division II Conference Commissioners (D2CCA) Association All-America honors to his resume for the second time at West Texas A&M. Brown was listed on the third team after being named an honorable mention last season.
 
Brown finished the 2022-23 season as WT's leader in scoring, assists, and steals and helped the Buffs to an appearance in the Sweet Sixteen round. The Westerville, Ohio native averaged 16.4 points per game while dishing out 116 total assists and making 45 total steals.
 
Over the course of the season, the senior guard earned LSC Preseason Player of the Year, LSC Player of the Year, LSC All-Defensive team, First Team All-Conference, and D2CCA First Team All-Region honors.
 
WT ended its campaign with a 27-7 record, an appearance in the NCAA regional final, and grabbed a sixth-consecutive Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship.
