CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs returned to the court following the holiday break as they finished Saturday afternoon with three players in double-figures on the way to a 68-38 exhibition victory over the Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, Texas.

Bella Ringenberg led the way for the Lady Buffs as the sophomore from Sanger, Texas went a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor for a season-high 15 points while
Kyla Kane chipped in 15 points of her own, going 6-of-11 from the field including 2-of-3 from behind the arc to go along with four rebounds.
Zoey McBroom also finished in double-figures as the Canyon product scored 10 points, finishing a perfect 5-of-5 from the charity stripe.

The Lady Buffs finished the game going 23-of-51 (45.1%) from the floor including 4-of-14 (28.6%) from deep and 18-of-22 (81.8%) from the free throw line to go along with 36 rebounds (five offensive, 31 defensive), 12 assists, 13 turnovers, five blocks and seven steals.

Heidi Rodriguez led the way for the Aggies as the freshman from Hooker, Oklahoma went 3-of-10 from the floor including 3-of-9 from behind the arc for a team-high 10 points to go along with three rebounds and two steals. OPSU finished the afternoon going 12-of-57 (21.1%) from the floor including 4-of-21 (19%) from deep and 10-of-15 (66.7%) from the free throw line to go along with 37 rebounds, two assists, 18 turnovers, no blocks and seven steals.

The Lady Buffs jump back into Lone Star Conference action on Thursday night as they travel to Wichita Falls, Texas to take on the Midwestern State Mustangs with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.Â
