HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lady Buffs and Patriots battled until the end with each set ending within five points going to WT or DBU. The first set, the Patriots came out with fire as they kept the Lady Buffs at a .000 hitting percentage within the first 15 points. The Patriots were hitting above .400 as a team and kept putting pressure on the Lady Buffs court with outside hitter Delaney Fuller leading the Patriots offensively (19 kills, .185%). DBU would go on to take set one 25-20 over the Lady Buffs.
The second set the Lady Buffs took an early lead, opposite of how they started the first and gained the largest lead of the match at 19-11. DBU would pull within three points but the Lady Buffs back-to-back blocks from the front line along with the tough serving at the back line would prove lethal for WT. The Lady Buffs out-aced the number one serving team in the conference 10 aces to their five.
The third set saw 20 tied score and six lead changes making the final score 31-29 to fall to the Lady Buffs. WT stayed right on the tails of DBU and went point for point in The Box. A block by
Taytum Stow and a kill by
Torrey Miller would end the battled set.
The fourth set was a dog fight to the end with the Lady Buffs putting up 15 total team blocks and the Patriots coming up with 54 digs on the match. Miller was too hot to handle as she led the match in kills (21) and had her 10
th double-double of the season with 10 digs. Opposite
Camy Jones would finish the match with a sliced kill falling on the Patriots side.

Torrey Miller led both sides of the net with 21 kills on 50 attempts with seven errors to hit .280.
