CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs battled for four quarters on Wednesday night but the Arizona Wildcats were too much as they shot 53.1% from the floor and forced 28 turnovers on their way to a 103-58 victory at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Nyalam Thabach led the way for the Lady Buffs as the senior from Boise went 7-of-12 from the floor including 3-of-4 from the free throw line for a team-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks.
Grace Alvarez impressed in her WT debut as the Houston product went 3-of-7 from the field including 2-of-6 from behind the arc for 12 points to go along with one rebound, five assists and one steal.

The Lady Buffs finished the night going 21-of-47 (44.7%) from the floor including 6-of-20 (30%) from deep and 10-of-12 (83.3%) from the free throw line to go along with 30 rebounds (seven offensive, 23 defensive), 11 assists, 28 turnovers, four blocks and four steals.

Kailyn Gilbert led the way for the Wildcats as the sophomore from Tampa Bay went 10-of-18 from the floor including 4-of-6 from behind the arc for a game-high 24 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Arizona went 43-of-81 (53.1%) from the field including 12-of-24 (50%) from deep and 5-of-7 (71.4%) from the charity stripe with 33 rebounds, 15 assists, seven turnovers, three blocks and 15 steals.

The Lady Buffs make their way to Norman, Oklahoma on Tuesday night as they face off with the Oklahoma Sooners in exhibition action with tipoff set for 6:00 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center.
