CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M got back on track and snapped a three-game losing skid on Saturday afternoon as they outlasted the Midwestern State Mustangs, 87-78 in Lone Star Conference divisional action at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Hollie Stalder led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs as the freshman guard went 8-of-13 from the floor including 2-of-4 from deep and 3-of-4 from the free throw line for a game-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.
Karley Motschenbacher finished the game with 18 points followed by
Lauren Taylor with 13 and
Nyalam Thabach with 11.

The Lady Buffs finished the game going 34-of-63 (54%) from the floor including 8-of-22 (36.4%) from behind the arc and 11-of-14 (78.6%) from the free throw line to go along with 33 rebounds (11 offensive, 22 defensive), 19 assists, five blocks and eight steals.

Eterni Jackson led the way for the Mustangs as she went 5-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line for a team-high 15 points to go along with one board, three assists and one steal. MSU went 28-of-60 (46.7%) from the floor including 4-of-8 (50%) from deep and 18-of-25 (72%) with 34 rebounds (14 offensive, 20 defensive), 13 assists, three blocks and four steals.

The Lady Buffs return to the First United Bank Center on Thursday night as they welcome the UT Permian Basin Falcons for Lone Star Conference divisional action with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m.
