No. 18 Lady Buffs Defeat St. Mary’s in Three Straight on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – West Texas A&M returns to Canyon undefeated in Lone Star Conference play as the No. 18 Lady Buffs swept past St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon to move to 11-4 overall on the season.

By The Numbers
WT hit .255 on the afternoon with 43 kills on 106 attempts with 16 errors while totaling 38 assists, 54 digs, three blocks, and five aces.  The Lady Buffs limited St. Mary's to hit just .047 on 26 kills with 21 errors on 106 swings.  St. Mary's had 27 assists, 45 digs, three blocks and one ace. 
 
Torrey Miller and Taytum Stow each tallied nine kills in the match followed by Camy Jones with eight while Ainsley Malis paced the offense with 16 assists.  Blair Moreland and Bryli Contreras each posted 10 digs in the back row while Miller led with two blocks. 
 
Brianna Morris-Worth had eight kills on 32 swings with eight errors to hit have a .000 hitting percentage while Cali Nimes led the offense with 16 assists.  Alyssa Koehl grabbed 10 digs in the loss while Morris-Worth and Dallasstar Johnson each had two blocks.
