CANYON, Texas – The No. 18 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs recorded their third straight victory after defeating the St. Edwards Hilltoppers in three straight (25-12, 25-17, 25-16) on Friday night in Austin at the Recreation and Athletics Center.

In the victory, the Lady Buffs tallied 41 kills on 91 attempts with just seven errors to hit .370 as a team tallied with 40 assists, 55 digs, five blocks, and five service aces. WT's defense limited the Hilltoppers to hit just .078 with 31 kills on 115 attempts with 22 errors while totaling 42 digs, 40 assists, three blocks with one service ace.
Freshman
Emma Becker led WT after matching a season-high 12 kills on 15 attempts with a single error to hit an outstanding .733 followed by
Torrey Miller with 10. Two players reached double figures in assists with
Ainsley Malis (19), the LSC Setter of the Week, and
Blair Moreland (12).
Emma Patterson led the back with 10 digs while
Kayla Elliott had a season-high seven aces.
Caroline Swan had 10 kills to lead the Hilltoppers on 33 swings with five errors to hit .152 while Esther Grussing paced the offense with 27 assists. Sarah Konovodoff grabbed 12 digs in the loss while she and Grussing each had two blocks.
