SAN ANGELO, Texas – No. 13 West Texas A&M fell to the Patriots of UT Tyler (20-25, 23-25, 25-27) on Saturday afternoon in their preseason finale as the Lady Buffs finished the LSC Crossover tournament 2-1.

The Patriots limited WT to one of its lowest attack-percentages of the year at .168 with 41 kills on 119 attempts with 21 errors. LCU racked up 43 kills against the Lady Buffs on 114 swings to hit .237.
Torrey Miller led with 11 kills on 29 attempts with four errors to hit .241 followed by
Camy Jones (9) and
Taytum Stow (8).
Blair Moreland paced the Lady Buffs offense with 18 of the 37 assists. On defense,
Abi Nash and
Emma Patterson each had 14 digs to lead the back row while
Kayla Elliott had a match-high five blocks on the afternoon.
Mikayla Ware had a match-high 18 kills on 50 attacks with seven errors followed by Evelyn Torres with 12. Dakota Rogers-Hurtado led at the net with three blocks while Adeline Ortman had 34 assists and Addison Evans had 15 digs.
