CANYON, Texas – The No. 11 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M finished the regular season with a perfect 16-0 record in Lone Star Conference play on Saturday afternoon after sweeping past Texas A&M International.

WT had 40 kills on 100 swings to hit .230 in the season finale while limiting the Dustdevils to hit just .045, their lowest of the season, with 24 kills on 111 attempts and 24 errors. WT finished with 53 digs, 38 assists, 11 blocks, and eight service aces while TAMIU had 39 digs, 24 assists, six blocks and two aces.
Torrey Miller hit .364 with a match-high 11 kills with three errors on 22 swings to go along with 111 digs for her 44
th career double-double. Ainsley Malis paced the offense with 19 assists and a match-high three aces. Bryli Contreras led the back row with 14 digs while freshman Emma Becker and Taytum Stow each had five blocks.
Dustdevils' Guilia Hortelan led with nine kills on 38 attempts to hit .026 with eight errors while Emma Lade had 18 assists, Lixai Perez had 10 digs, and Mackenzie Catalina, Jasmin Garcia, and Hannah Thompson each had three blocks.
The Milestones
