CANYON, Texas – The top seeded Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M extended their win streak out to 18 after defeating No. 8 seed Angelo State in straight sets on Thursday night to advance to the Lone Star Conference Semifinals.  WT will go head-to-head with the No. 4 seed UT Tyler Patriots (20-8, 12-4 LSC) on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. CT inside "The Box" while the Rambelles see their season come to an end with an 11-18 overall record. Â

Torrey Miller, the LSC Offensive Player of the Year, led the offense in the victory with a match-high 11 kills with just two errors on 27 attempts to hit .333 while followed by All-Conference Honorable Mention selection Emma Becker with eight. Sophomore Ainsley Malis paced the Lady Buffs with 17 assists while Bryli Contreras had a team-high two aces. On defense,
Abi Nash produced 11 digs with freshman Taytum Stow, the LSC Defensive Player of the Year, recording four blocks to bring her season total to 106.Â

Kaila Garnet led the Rambelles with seven kills on 1 attempts with no errors to hit .636 while Laney Dale had a match-high 20 assists, Caleigh Enax had 11 digs with two aces, and Cate Boldrick had two blocks at the net in ASU's final game of the season.Â
