CANYON, Texas – The No. 11 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M swept their way to the program's 17
th Lone Star Conference Tournament title after defeating No. 2 seed DBU on Saturday night.

Torrey Miller were named to the All-Tournament team while Miller was tabbed the Tournament MVP.
The Lady Buffs will now wait for their seedings in the South Central Regional Championships as they entered the weekend as the regions second seed. The top team in the region will host the eight-team single elimination tournament set for Nov. 17-19.
The NCAA Division II volleyball selection committee will announce the pairings for the 2022 postseason tournament live via an online selection show set for Sunday, Nov. 13 at 9:30 p.m. CT. The winner from the regional tournament will advance to the NCAA DII Elite Eight in Seattle, Wash. on Dec. 1-3.

WT .348 in the championship match with 43 kills on 92 attempts with 11 errors to go along with 39 digs, 39 assists, eight blocks and six service aces while DBU had 39 kills on 103 swings with 17 errors to hit .214 with 36 digs, 37 assists, six blocks and three aces.
Torrey Miller, the Tournament MVP, led the Lady Buffs with 11 kills on 25 attempts to hit .320. The junior from Brownwood, Texas reached her 1,500
th career kill on the 10
th kill. Ainsley Malis paced the offense with 18 assists while
Blair Moreland had a match-high two aces. Bryli Contreras registered 13 digs to lead the back row while Emma Becker and Taytum Stow each produced four blocks.
AJ Koele and Shaylee Shore each collected 12 kills in the match while Lauryn Burt, the LSC Setter of the Year, had a match-high 34 assists. Emily Van Slate and Lexy Pettitte had nine digs in the back while Shaylee Shore led at the net with six blocks.
