No. 14 Lady Buffs Remain Undefeated in Lone Star Conference Play

DENTON, Texas – The nationally-ranked West Texas A&M Lady Buffs are the last remaining undefeated team in the Lone Star Conference after WT swept Texas Woman's on Saturday to move to a perfect 8-0 league record.

The Numbers
WT hit .270 on Saturday afternoon with 43 kills on 111 attempts with 13 errors to go along with 71 digs, 39 assists, five blocks and four aces. The Lady Buffs limited to Pioneers to just 20 kills, the lowest an opponent has registered against WT this season, to hit just .036 on 111 swings with 16 errors. TWU had 51 digs, 17 assists, three blocks and one assist. 
 
Torrey Miller led the offense with 13 kills on 29 attempts with four errors to hit .310 to go along with 10 digs for the double-double. Ainsley Malis paced the offense with 15 assists while Bryli Contreras had a match-high two aces. Sophomore Emma Patterson led the back row with a match-high 27 digs while Taytum Stow had three blocks. 
 
Trixie Oche had six kills in the match while Erin Jones and Kiana Reed had seven assists each.  Yanely Pabon grabbed 18 digs while Oche and Myracle Stockman led with two blocks each.
