CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M moved to 10-2 (4-1 LSC) on the season after sweeping Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday night.  The Lady Buffs won with scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-20 to lead the all-time series 70-15.Â

The Lady Buffs hit .210 with 34 kills on 81 attempts with 17 errors.  WT was led offensively by
Torrey Miller with 10 kills followed by
Camy Jones with seven.  Lone Star Conference Setter of the Week
Sadie Snay recorded a team-high 14 assists while
Blair Moreland collected 10. Â
Kayla Elliott recorded three services aces and three blocks to lead WT joined by Miller and
Marjani Stanfill.  Senior
Chandler Vogel had 13 digs on the night to bring her career total to 2,323.Â

WT's defense limited Eastern New Mexico to a .055 hit-percentage with 30 kills on 91 swings. Gracelyn Stubbs led the Greyhounds with nine kills followed by Mikeala Garvin with seven while Rae and Qitana Sapiga combined for 24 assists.  On defense, Jordan O'Connor Dempsey recorded a team-high four blocks joined by Jasmine Gannon and Adriana Puni with three each.  Gannon had a team high eight digs.Â

The Lady Buffs return to action on Oct. 8 in San Antonio, Texas as they take on St. Mary's followed by a match at St. Edward's on Oct. 9
