WT kept the momentum from Saturday's dominating performance as they rallied 11 runs against Fort Lewis.  McBroom led off with a single into left field before stealing second to get into scoring position.  Alyx Cordell laid down a bunt to score McBroom from third to take a 1-0 lead in the first.

The Lady Buffs would add insurance runs in the second as pinch hitter Madison Johnson doubled to left center to bring home two runs before scoring on a two-run homerun by Sydney Greeson to make it 5-0.  Fort Lewis responded in the bottom of the inning with a two-run RBI single by Pilar Gutier to bring the score within three.

Another Lady Buff triple by Cordell led off the inning before Gabriella Valforte hit a sac fly to right field to score the run.  The Skyhawks tagged on another run with a single through the left side to cut the Lady Buffs lead but was immediately responded by Greeson with her first career grand slam.  The Amarillo native drove the 2-1 pitch into deep right center to tally the program's 76th grand slam, pushing WT ahead 10-3.

After two scoreless innings, the Lady Buffs and Skyhawks each added another run to the board but a strikeout would secure the 11-4 win for WT.

A single for Mine's Sidney Wilson brought the game within one but was responded with a two-run RBI triple by McBroom and RBI groundout for Salzman extended the Lady Buff's lead.  WT added two more runs to their lead before an Oredigger double cut the Lady Buff's lead 7-2.
