CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M continued their win streak with a pair of home victories over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Tuesday. WT moves to 10-0 after defeating the Aggies 16-0 and 8-0.

After a 1-2-3 inning with three swinging strikeouts for
Kyra Lair, the Lady Buffs attacked early and often as WT crushed three home runs in the first inning to take a 5-0 lead.
Shanna McBroom was clipped by a pitch to lead off the for the Lady Buffs before
Ruby Salzman and
Sydney Greeson went back-to-back sending one deep and out.
Gabriella Valforte added her fourth home run of the season for a two-run bomb to score
Alyx Cordell.
The Lady Buffs kept the momentum in the second as freshman
Hailey Neira landed on base with a bunt to set up for McBroom's 32
nd career home run. The Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week drove the 3-1 pitch deep into left field to extend Wt's lead. WT took control of the game as they tagged on five additional runs to make it 12-0.
OPSU's Kaitlyn Lord would break up the no-hitter after driving a single up the middle before the Aggies were able to load the bases but a strikeout for
Halle Lytal would end the threat. The Lady Buffs brought home four more runs to for the 16-0 victory.
Lytal (2-0) was rewarded the victory after allowing three hits with four strikeouts in three innings while Aggies pitcher Sarah Conley was credited the loss allowing 12 runs on 13 hjts.

After two scoreless innings,
Shanna McBroom shot one into center field to score
Madison Johnson from second to get the go ahead lead. A two-run RBI double for
Ruby Salzman extended the Lady Buffs lead before a ground ball to the shortstop would score her from third to make it 4-0.
Erica Vessels led off the bottom of the fourth added to the lead as the senior crushed a solo shot into left field before the Lady Buffs had two more runs cross the plate. With a runner on second, Salzman tapped a ball into centerfield to score
Malaya Delfin for the 8-0 run-rule victory.
Emilee Wilson (2-0) was rewarded the victory on the mound for the Lady Buffs as the sophomore collected three strikeoutss with one walk in four innings.
