CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's basketball announced on Monday afternoon that they will host St. Edward's on Feb. 22 at the First United Bank Center. Tip is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The Buffs and Hilltoppers were scheduled to open the 2020-21 season in December but COVID-19 concerns postponed the games. They were also scheduled to play in late January but issues with COVID-19 forced the contests to be pushed back again.

Monday's game will be their seventh all-time meeting and first in Canyon since the 2019 NCAA Division II South Central Regional Final. Ryan Quaid recorded a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double as WT defeated SEU 89-70 for their second straight regional title.
