OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – West Texas A&M extended its win streak against Oklahoma Christian to 13 as the No. 22 Buffs left Oklahoma City with a 2-1 decision on Wednesday night.  The Buffs moved to 12-3 this season with a 5-2 mark in conference play while OC (1-10-3) has yet to get a conference victory.Â

The Eagles opened scoring in the 7
th-minute on a shot by Carlos Trapero from Alejandro Colom.  WT added to the board when
Chris Palomino connected with
Denis Herrera's corner kick to equalize the score in the 33
rd-minute.  The freshmen headed his fourth goal of the season to make it 1-1 at the half.Â

With 18 minutes left of regulation,
Ricardo Castillo grabbed the deciding goal to make it 2-1 in favor of the Buffs.  The Houston product buried his first collegiate goal after he got on the end of a pass from
Anthony Perea.Â

WT outshot the Eagles 15-12 led by
Denis Herrera and
Chris Palomino with four each while Palomino landed two on target. Â
Tom Miles recorded a season-high five saves to move to 11-1-0 on the season.Â

The Buffs will return Canyon for the regular-season finale on Saturday, Nov. 6 for a Top-25 showdown with No. 6 Midwestern State (14-1-0, 6-0-0 LSC) with kickoff is set for 2 p.m.  The Buffs will also honor seven players for Senior Day for Saturday's match.
