AUSTIN, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M recorded their sixth-consecutive victory after topping the St. Edward's Hilltoppers in four sets on Saturday afternoon (25-12, 23-25, 25-17, 25-15).  
 
WT improved to 6-1 in LSC play and 12-2 overall while the Hilltoppers moved to 4-4 in conference (9-6 overall).  The Lady Buffs now have a 10-game win streak over St. Edward's, leading the all-time series 15-1. 
 
The Lady Buffs outhit the Hilltoppers with 61 kills on 169 attempts to hit .254 alongside 57 assists, and 91 digs. St. Edward's hit .110 as a team with 40 kills on 163 attacks while collecting 39 assists and 81 digs.  Each school totaled four blocks with WT's Katrina Johnson leading with a match-high four. 
 
Three players registered double-digit points for the Lady Buffs led by Kayla Elliott with 18 joined by Torrey Miller (14) and Abi Nash (13).  Elliott recorded a career-high 17 kills with five digs while Sadie Snay and Blair Moreland paced WT's offense with 26 and 25 assists.  On defense, Chandler Vogel collected 24 digs to bring her career total to 2,370.
 
Kaitlyn Krafka and Caroline Swan led the Hilltoppers offense with 21 total kills while Natalia Walls registered 25 assists.  Jillienne Connell had three blocks while Sarah Konovodoff led with a team-high 18 digs. 
 
The Lady Buffs will return to Canyon on Oct. 15-16 as they welcome Oklahoma Christian and UAFS to the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box."
