KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 3 West Texas A&M was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Team of the Week after extending the nation's longest home win streak to 40 games with wins over Tarleton and Dallas Baptist last week at the First United Bank Center.
The Buffs (25-1, 17-1 LSC) enter the final two weeks of the regular season on a 16-game win streak after another perfect weekend at home. On Thursday, Qua Grant recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Buffs past the Texans for their fifth-straight win in the series. Jordan Collins and JT Warren combined for 29 points off the bench on Saturday as WT made 19 3-pointers in their 98-82 victory over DBU.Â
