Abby Spurgin scored a career-high 30 points on Saturday afternoon as the #19 Lady Buffs reached the 20-win plateau for the eight straight season in a 83-52 rout of the UT Permian Basin Falcons in front of over 800 fans at the First United Bank Center in Canyon during Lone Star Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led by
Abby Spurgin who went 11-of-13 from the floor including 8-of-9 from the free throw line for a career-high 30 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three blocks for the double-double,
Tiana Parker chipped in 14 points and eight boards while
Delaney Nix hit four long balls to finish with 12 points. It marks the first time in almost six years that a Lady Buff scored atleast 30 points in a game (32, Chon White vs. MSU, 3/7/14).
- UT Permian Basin was led offensively by Rory Carter who went 7-of-20 from the floor including 3-of-7 from behind the arc for a team-high 18 points followed by Yazmin Batch with 14, Batch grabbed a team-high five rebounds to go along with a game-high four steals.

FIRST HALF
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 11-of-25 (44%) from the field including 3-of-11 (27.3%) from behind the arc and 13-of-19 (68.4%) from the free throw line with 24 rebounds (10 offensive, 24 defensive), eight assists, nine turnovers, two steals and two blocks.
- UTPB went 10-of-29 (34.5%) from the floor in the first half including 3-of-11 (27.3%) from deep without taking a free throw to go along with 11 rebounds (five offensive, six defensive), six assists, eight turnovers, five steals and one block.

- WT finished the game going 26-of-53 (49.1%) from the floor including 7-of-20 (35%) from deep and 24-of-34 (70.6%) from the charity stripe with 45 rebounds (20 offensive, 25 defensive), 18 assists, 19 turnovers, six steals and five blocks in the win.
- The Falcons finished the afternoon going 20-of-53 (37.7%) from the field including 6-of-19 (31.6%) from behind the arc and 6-of-8 (75%) from the free throw line with 20 rebounds (10 offensive, 10 defensive), 11 assists, 23 turnovers, 11 steals and one block.
