CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M capped off their regular season home schedule in style on Saturday afternoon as they swept past the visiting Patriots of UT Tyler during Lone Star Conference action on Senior Day at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.
 
Torrey Miller ended the afternoon with a match-high 20 kills on 31 swings with two attack errors to hit .581 in the match to go along with five digs and a pair of service aces, Gabby Emery dished out 41 assists while Chandler Vogel registered 18 digs on the back row in the win. WT finished the match with 49 kills on 110 attempts with 15 attack errors to hit .309 as a team with 43 assists, five aces, 51 digs and six total blocks.
 
The Patriots were led by Kylee Baker with 10 kills on 20 swings with two attack errors to hit .286 followed by Christina Escamilla with seven kills, Taylor Stoops paced the UT Tyler offense with 28 assists while Savannah Guzman led the way defensively with 14 digs on the afternoon. UTT finished the match with 29 kills on 105 swings with 18 attack errors to hit .105 with 29 assists, five aces, 42 digs and two blocks.
 
The Lady Buffs finish up the regular season next weekend as they head to Silver City, New Mexico and Odessa, Texas during Lone Star Conference action.
