Braylyn Dollar registered her second career double-double on Friday afternoon but it wasn't enough as the #12 Lady Buffs fell to the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos in the 2019-20 season opener, 73-58 during the opening day of the D2CCA Tipoff Classic at Santiago Canyon College in Orange, California.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Braylyn Dollar who went 4-of-9 from the floor including 1-of-2 from behind the arc and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe for a career-high 18 points to go along with 10 rebounds for her second career double-double.
Tiana Parker registered 13 points and six boards in her first action in almost a year while
Megan Gamble dished out five assists.
- Kasey Smit had a great afternoon for the Broncos as she went 7-of-12 from the field including 3-of-6 from deep and 1-of-2 from the charity stripe for 18 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals in the victory.

- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 12-of-29 (41.3%) from the floor including 2-of-7 (28.6%) from deep to go along with 20 rebounds (seven offensive, 13 defensive), six assists, 14 turnovers, three blocks and no steals.
- Pomona went 12-of-29 (41.4%) from the field in the opening half including 2-of-7 (28.6%) from behind the arc to go along with 15 rebounds (three offensive, 12 defensive), four assists, nine turnovers, one block and three steals.

- WT finished the game going 19-of-55 (34.5%) from the floor including 6-of-22 (27.3%) from behind the arc and 14-of-23 (64.7%) from the free throw line with 43 rebounds (16 offensive, 27 defensive), 14 assists, 24 turnovers, four blocks and one steal on the afternoon.
- The Broncos went 27-of-64 (42.2%) from the field including 10-of-22 (45.5%) from deep and 9-of-12 (75%) from the charity stripe with 32 rebounds (nine offensive, 23 defensive), 12 assists, 13 turnovers, three blocks and five steals in the win.
