WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The #21 Lady Buffs extended their win streak to nine games with a 2-0 victory over MSU Texas on Friday night at Stang Park in Wichita Falls, Texas. Hannah Kelley-Lusk and Khaline Jacob scored in the second half as WT stayed a perfect 4-0-0 on the road this season.

It took the Lady Buffs more than 12 minute to register their first shot of the game when Kelley-Lusk shot went over the crossbar. MSU Texas came close to taking a lead in the 17th minute on their lone shot of the first half when Madison Williams' shot went off the post. WT held a 5-1 advantage in shots as the game was tied 0-0 at halftime.
The Lady Buffs came out firing after the intermission with three shots on-goal before taking a 1-0 lead in the 65th minute when Shanelle Arjoon found Kelley-Lusk in the penalty area. Arjoon's cross from the left wing fell to the foot of the forward who made no mistake beating the keeper from 12 yards out for her fifth of the season.
The Mustangs had a pair of chances in the 89th minute but the first attempt was cleared off the line with the defense regrouping to block the second attempt. Jacob would score her conference-leading ninth goal of the season with a breakaway goal in the final seconds of the game to double the lead. It was the fourth time this season Kelley-Lusk and Jacob have scored in the same game.
Courtney Dippel was credited with her fifth shutout of the season after making two saves. Kelley-Lusk and Jacob combined for eight shots with Jessica Diaz and Arjoon recording three shots each.
