CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M and #23 Florida Southern put on a show at the Jenkins Field House on Saturday evening but the reigning National Runner-Up Mocs came away with a sweep of the Lady Buffs to wrap-up the Terrrace Hotel Classic in Lakeland, Florida.

The Lady Buffs registered 43 kills on 120 attempts with 16 errors to hit .225 on the night with 42 assists, six service aces, 54 digs and five blocks. Taylor Kress topped off a big day with 12 kills on 30 swings to hit .200 in the match followed by Selena Batiste with nine kills, Batiste dished out 22 assists to go along with 12 digs for a double-double while Gabby Emery also had a double-double with 15 assists and a team-high 13 digs.
 
Florida Southern finished the night with 54 kills on 129 swings with 11 attack errors to hit .333 as a team with 51 assists, six aces, 52 digs and eight total blocks in the win. Nicole Mattson had a big night for the Mocs as she registered 27 kills on 58 swings with just five attack errors to hit .466, Bethany Besancenez dished out 50 assists to lead all players while Gabby Fresh had 15 digs in the win.
