Fast Start Sparks the #25 Lady Buffs Past Texas A&M-Commerce on the Road, 69-43

COMMERCE, Texas – The #25 Lady Buffs took advantage of six early turnovers for a 13-0 run to start the game as they ran their win streak to eight games while moving one step closer to a Lone Star Conference Championship with a 69-43 road win at Texas A&M-Commerce on Thursday night at the TAMUC Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- West Texas A&M was led offensively by Tiana Parker who went 7-of-11 from the floor with 14 points to go along with seven rebounds while senior Madison Parker also chipped in 14 points followed by Sydney Walton with 11. Deleyah Harris led the way with eight rebounds to go along with four points, two assists and three steals.
- Princess Davis led the way for the Lions as she went 4-of-12 from the floor and 3-of-3 from the free throw line with 11 points followed by Brianna Wise with 10 points to go along with five rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
 
FIRST HALF:
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 17-of-30 (56.7%) from the field including 5-of-10 (50%) from behind the arc and 3-of-4 (75%) from the charity stripe with 21 rebounds (six offensive, 15 defensive), 10 assists, nine turnovers, three blocks and six assists.
- Texas A&M-Commerce went 8-of-26 (30.8%) from the floor in the first half including 1-of-10 (10%) from deep and 2-of-4 (50%) from the free throw line with 11 rebounds (four offensive, seven defensive), four assists, 11 turnovers, three blocks and four steals.

SECOND HALF:
- WT finished the game going 29-of-64 (45.3%) from the field including 6-of-19 (31.6%) from deep and 5-of-8 (62.5%) from the free throw line with 44 rebounds (17 offensive, 27 defensive), 16 assists, 15 turnovers, four blocks and nine assists.
