CANYON, Texas – The #25 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M moved into a tie for first place in the Lone Star Conference standings while snapping Angelo State's 11-game win streak on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the First United Bank Center in front of over 2,000 fans.

Tyesha Taylor who went 8-of-10 from the floor including 5-of-8 from the free throw line with a career high 21 points to go along with 12 rebounds and four blocks for a double-double,
Sydney Walton and
Madison Parker capped off their careers at the First United Bank Center in style with 12 points each.
- Marquita Daniels led the Rambelles with 14 points as she went 5-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-8 from behind the arc followed by Dezirae Hampton with 13 and De'Anira Moore with 11 to go along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
FIRST HALF:
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 12-of-30 (46.2%) from the field including 0-of-7 from behind the arc and 10-of-11 (90.9%) from the free throw line with 24 rebounds (nine offensive, 15 defensive), five assists, nine turnovers, two blocks and three steals.
- Angelo State went 13-of-36 (36.1%) from the floor including 1-of-10 (10%) from deep and 4-of-5 (80%) from the charity stripe with 16 rebounds (seven offensive, nine defensive), four assists, eight turnovers, two blocks and four steals.
SECOND HALF:
- WT finished the game going 26-of-58 (44.8%) from the field including 1-of-13 (7.7%) from behind the arc and 18-of-22 (81.8%) from the free throw line with 46 rebounds (15 offensive, 31 defensive), 12 assists, 20 turnovers, six blocks and eight steals.
- The Belles finished the afternoon going 22-of-69 (31.9%) from the floor including 4-of-24 (16.7%) from deep and 14-of-16 (87.5%) from the free throw line to go along with 34 rebounds (15 offensive, 19 defensive), nine assists, 15 turnovers, five blocks and seven steals.
