STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M ended their season on Friday night as they fell to the top seeded and host #12 Tarleton TexAnns in straight sets during the Lone Star Conference Semifinals at Wisdom Gym South in Stephenville, Texas.

The Lady Buffs registered 36 kills on 118 attempts with 20 errors to hit .136 on the night with 35 assists, three service aces, 52 digs and three blocks. WT was led offensively by Sydnee Johnson with eight kills on 25 swings with six attack errors to hit .080 on the night, Selena Batiste registered a double-double with 19 assists and 10 digs while Chandler Vogel led the way defensively with 16 digs in the loss.
 
Tarleton finished the match with 45 kills on 111 swings with seven attack errors to hit .342 as a team with 42 assists, three aces, 55 digs and eight blocks. Lauren Kersey led the way offensively with 12 kills on 22 swings with just one error to hit .500 on the night, Blanca Izquierdo dished out a match-high 23 assists while Adrianna Knutson had 18 digs in the win.
