CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M sophomore libero
Chandler Vogel became the newest member of the 1,000 career digs club on Tuesday night as the Lady Buffs extracted a little revenge against the rival Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico in Lone Star Conference action at The Box.

The Lady Buffs registered 42 kills on 119 attempts with 14 errors to hit .235 with 38 assists, two service aces, 60 digs and 11 blocks. WT was led offensively by
Lindsey Smith and
Taylor Kress with nine kills each followed by
Destiny Jones and
Selena Batiste with eight, Batiste and
Gabby Emery dished out 17 assists each while Vogel led the way with 20 digs to reach the 1,000 career digs plateau in just her 59
th match as a Lady Buff.
Eastern New Mexico finished the match with 33 kills on 122 swings with 22 attack errors to hit .090 as a team with 32 assists, three aces, 56 digs and two blocks in the loss. ENMU was offensively by Jennifer Martinez with eight kills on 16 swings with just one error to hit .438 on the night, Kaitlyn Kluna dished out a match-high 20 assists while Alba Ontiveros led the way defensively with 20 digs.
