HOW IT HAPPENED:
- West Texas A&M was led offensively by
Lexy Hightower and
Madison Parker with 13 points each followed by
Abby Spurgin with 12 while
Cece Wooten registered a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds,
Sydney Walton led all players with three assists while four different Lady Buffs registered a block in the win.
- Angelica Wilson led the way for the Javelinas as she went 2-of-8 from the floor and 5-of-8 from the free throw line for nine points followed by Brynae Thompson with eight and Sadie Russell with seven.

FIRST HALF:
- The Lady Buffs went 13-of-25 (52%) from the floor including 3-of-7 (42.9%) from behind the arc and 5-of-7 (71.4%) from the free throw line with 22 rebounds (eight offensive, 14 defensive), eight assists, 13 turnovers, no blocks and six steals in the opening half.
- Kingsville went 6-of-19 (31.6%) from the field in the opening half including 0-of-3 from deep and 7-of-14 (50%) from the charity stripe with nine rebounds (three offensive, six defensive), four assists, nine turnovers, one block and three steals.

- WT finished the game going 26-of-53 (49.1%) from the floor including 6-of-16 (37.5%) from behind the arc and 21-of-25 (84%) from the free throw line with 48 rebounds (15 offensive, 33 defensive), 15 assists, 20 turnovers, four blocks and 13 steals on the afternoon.
