AUSTIN, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs moved to 15-16 on the season on Friday night as they swept past the St. Edwards Hilltoppers (25-18, 25-15, 25-20) at the SEU Rec and Convocation Center in Austin, Texas. The Lady Buffs move to 15-16 overall while the Hilltoppers fall to 7-20 on the season.
 
The Lady Buffs were led offensively by Curl with 11 kills on 26 swings with just two errors to hit .346 while Haley had 10 kills in the match, Jackson guided the WT offense with 39 assists in the match while Britten led the team with 12 digs in the contest followed by Sanders with 10. The Lady Buffs hit .321 as a team with 47 kills on 106 swings with 13 attack errors to go along with 44 assists, three ace, 62 digs and seven blocks in the match.
 
St. Edwards was led by Katie Hendrix with six kills on 15 swings with just one attack error to hit .333 on the night while Hannah Rauch and Dani Rae Wascher had four kills each, Hartley led the team with 16 assists in the match while Morgan Beckham led all players with 15 digs in the match. The Hilltoppers hit .164 as a team with 34 kills on 116 swings with 15 errors to go along with 33 assists, two aces, 44 digs and five blocks on the night.
