With the win the Lady Buffs improved to 5-1 on the year, while OPSU fell to 1-6.

Chontiquah White had her third double-double of the season with 24 points and a season-high 16 rebounds as she was 8 of 11 from the field and 8 of 8 from the line. Sophomore
Sasha Watson had 16 points on a perfect 7 of 7 from the field with two assists and a game-high five steals. Redshirt freshman
Bailey Thiel had a career-high 12 points off the bench, while junior Zantaya Davis and junior
Michaela Neuhaus each had 10 points. Senior
Haylee Oliver had a career-high 10 assists.
As a team, the Lady Buffs shot a season-best 58.8 percent from the field on 40 of 68. They were just 3 of 14 from beyond the arc and 25 of 36 from the line. WT tallied a season-high 56 rebounds in the contest, outrebounding OPSU by 32 rebounds.
The Aggies were led by two players in double figures as Kiera Waters had 18 points on 6 of 10 from the field with one triple and 5 of 6 from the line. Tatyana Bell added 16 points on 3 of 8 from the field, but was 10 of 11 from the line. OPSU shot 32.8 percent for the game on 20 of 61. The Aggies were 3 of 15 from beyond the arc and 16 of 25 from the line.
WT dominated every facet of the game as it outscored OPSU 70-20 in points in the paint and scored 39 points off of 26 OPSU miscues and held an 18-0 lead in second chance points.
The Lady Buffs opened the game on a 16-4 run for a 16-6 lead capped with a pair of free throws from White with 14:38 left. Two charity tosses by Bell cut the deficit to 21-10 with 13:44 left.
From there, WT went on a 21-0 run over the next four minutes for a 42-10 lead with 9:04 left in the first half and settled for a 55-31 lead at intermission. The Lady Buffs had their best shooting performance in the first half of the season going 18 of 29 for 62.1 percent. WT shot well over 70 percent for much of the first half and went to the free throw line 21 times making 17. OPSU was just 11 of 29 from the field and 9 of 13 from the line.
WT played 14 players in the game with all but two seeing double-digit minutes and 13 of the 14 scored. The 108 points were the most WT has scored since 110 in a 110-77 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville on Feb. 4, 2006.
The Lady Buffs return to action Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First United Bank Center versus Oklahoma Christian University in the fourth game of a five game home stand.
