Jacob Dotseth, is entering his fourth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at West Texas A&M. He has worked with Women’s Volleyball team, Football, and the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country teams.
Dotseth, a native of Boyceville, Wisconsin., recently worked at Lone Star Conference foe Eastern New Mexico and has worked in the St. Luke’s Hospital System, as an athletic trainer.
Dotseth, graduated in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Athletic Training, from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. In grad school, Jacob was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and provided medical coverage for Stroudsburg High School. Prior to graduate school, Jacob graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Winona State University in Minnesota.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys playing golf with his coworkers, working out at the gym, taking photos at sporting events, and grabbing tacos on Tuesday with friends.
He is NATA Board Certified since 2019, a licensed Athletic Trainer since 2019, Mental Health First Aid certified since 2022 and CPR certified.
