West Texas A&M University Athletics

Brent Seals is now in his 15th year as a member of the Athletic Administration staff West Texas A&M as he was promoted to the Director of Athletic Communications in the Summer of 2021 after serving three years as the Director of Digital Media & Creative Content.

His primary duties involve the media relations and publicity efforts of the Buffalo Football, Buffalo Golf, Lady Buff Basketball and Buffalo Baseball programs. He also oversees the graphic design, video production and branding efforts of the department. Seals also assists in game-day operations of all sports and the day-to-day aspects of the department’s communications operations.

During Seals’ time at West Texas A&M, the school has hosted NCAA Regional competition in football, volleyball, cross country, women’s basketball, women’s soccer, women’s golf, men's basketball, baseball and softball as well as numerous Lone Star Conference Championship events.

Seals was the primary contact for WT Softball on their run to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship while also overseeing the Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championship in 2018. The Canyon native serves as the South Central Regional Coordinator for the D2CCA Baseball All-American Committee as well as a voting member of the NCBWA South Central Regional Committee.
