2012: Woodruff looked to become a redshirt for the Lady Buffs in 2012, but an injury situation in the South Central Regional Semifinals against #12 Colorado School of Mines forced the junior to enter the big match and she responded with a block assist in the match as the Lady Buff won in four sets on their way to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the 12^th time in program history.

Previous School: Woodruff graduated from Northeastern Junior College (Colorado) in 2012 with her associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. She was an academic all-region performer for the Plainswomen while amassing a 52-15 record in two seasons under head coach Amber Girdler.

High School: Woodruff had a standout prep career at Berthoud HS (Colorado), playing in the middle and on the right side for the Spartans under head coach Daisha Agho. She was an academic all-state selection while also receiving the Distinguished Athlete Award from the U.S. Marine Corps.
