Biography

2015 (Junior):
Britten remained a staple in the back row for the Lady Buffs during her junior campaign in 2016, starting all 123 sets during 33 matches. The local product registered 26 assists and 16 service aces on the season while leading the team in digs with 463 to average 3.76 per set. She set a new career high for digs in a match with 35 at Cameron (Oct. 27). Britten also excelled in the classroom for the Lady Buffs, being named a member of the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for the second time. The Amarillo HS grad currently sits in eighth place all-time with 1,588 career digs entering her senior campaign.

2014 (Sophomore):
Britten became one of the top liberos in Division II volleyball during her sophomore season for the Lady Buffs in 2015, starting all 37 matches for WT in the back row. The Amarillo, Texas native led the team with 563 digs to average 4.33 per frame to go along with 24 assists, 18 service aces while registering a .977 receiving percentage as the sophomore tallied 584 receptions on the season with just 13 receiving errors. Britten was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-South Central Region Honorable Mention team while picking up All-Lone Star Conference 2nd Team accolades Britten also excelled in the classroom as a member of the All-LSC Academic Team and the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.
 
2013 (Freshman): 
Britten made an immediate impact for the Lady Buffs in 2013 as a redshirt freshman following a year away from volleyball, the local standout helped the Lady Buffs to the program’s 13th NCAA Elite Eight Appearance. She led the team with 562 digs on the back row for a staggering average of 4.10 per set while also tallying 27 service aces to rank second on the team while averaging 0.20 per frame, the Amarillo native registered a .948 receiving percentage on the back row while also dishing out 23 assists on the year. Britten had a great run thru the 2013 BritKare Lady Buff Classic as the freshman libero was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, she also picked-up AVCA Honorable Mention All-South Central Region accolades. Britten also excelled in the classroom as she was a LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection in the fall and spring semesters.

At Oklahoma State: 
Britten attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma during the 2012-13 academic year.

At Amarillo High School: 
Britten registered a standout prep career at nearby Amarillo HS (Texas) where she was the libero for the Sandies under legendary head coach Jan Barker. Britten was a TGCA All-State selection and the District 2-5A Defensive Player of the Year for the Sandies.
