2012: To say that Laura Iwuchukwu made an impact on the Lady Buffs in 2012 would be an understatement, the junior middle blocker joined teammate and All-American Erin Dougherty to become one of the most feared middles in all of NCAA Division II. Iwuchukwu registered 124 total blocks on the season (14 solo, 110 assists) to rank second on the team in the category as she averaged 1.16 blocks per set. The junior was also a force offensively, tallying 204 kills to rank fifth on the team to average 1.91 kills per set as WT claimed the South Central Regional Championship. She also excelled in the classroom, being named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team.

2011: Iwuchukwu showed great progress during her sophomore campaign for the Lady Buffs in 2011, seeing time in 12 matches while registering nine kills and 12 total blocks in 16 sets.

2010: Iwuchukwu saw action in 23 sets in her first full season with the Lady Buffs. She tallied 20 kills and collected 13 total blocks (one solo) on the season. She recorded a career-high eight kills against Newman on Oct. 1, 2010, and posted a career-best four blocks in two different matches.

2009: A talented middle blocker, Iwuchukwu redshirted for the National Runner-Up Lady Buffs in the 2009 season.

High School: Iwuchukwu played middle blocker and rightside hitter for head coach Jessica Greyson at Edmond North HS (Oklahoma). As a senior, she helped lead her team to the Oklahoma Class 6A State Championship finals. She led the team to back-to-back regional championships in her final two seasons at ENHS. She was a four-year letter winner in volleyball and played club for Kaizen VBC in Edmond, Okla. Academically, Iwuchukwu graduated as the Salutatorian of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
