2013: Johnson redshirted for the Lady Buffs during the 2013 following a knee injury. She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her efforts in the classroom.
 
Previous School: Johnson came to Canyon in the fall of 2013 following two years at Eastern Arizona College (Arizona) where she received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science while playing in the middle for the Gila Monsters under head coach Shari Kay. She helped Eastern to a seventh place finish at Nationals during both seasons, picking up 2^nd Team All-American honors.

High School: Johnson graduated from Snowflake HS (Colorado) in 2010 where she played in the middle for the Lobos under the guidance of head coach Alan Ramage. She helped the Lobos qualify for three State Tournaments during her prep career, also excelling in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.
