Saw time in 107 sets during 31 matches during her first season in Maroon & White... Tallied 274 kills on 698 swings for an attack percentage of .249 to average 2.56 kills per set... Also dished out four assists to go along with four aces, 101 digs and 36.0 total blocks for 299.5 points (2.80/set)... Season-best 15 kills against Lubbock Christian on October 5th... Registered double-digit kills on 14 occasions including a double-double (10 kills, 10 digs) in the Regional Semifinals against MSU Denver... Named to the All-Lone Star Conference Second Team... 

At Texas Tech:
Returned home to the Panhandle following two seasons at Big 12 member Texas Tech under former WT head coach Tony Graystone... Saw time in 45 sets durning 22 matches in Lubbock... Registered 36 kills to go along with one assist, one service ace, 38 digs and five total blocks... Career-high six kills on two occasions, against College of Charleton (9/2/22) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (9/9/22)... Double-digit performance (11) against Oral Roberts (9/16/22)... Also excelled in the classroom as a member of the 2022-23 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team... 

At Amarillo High School:
Registered a standout prep career at historic Amarillo High School... All-District, All-Region and All-State honoree for the Lady Sandies... District Most Valuable Player honors while being named to the AVCA Under Armour Phemom list... Set the AHS single-season kills record with over kills... Prep Dig Top 200 of 2022 recognition... Also lettered on the track for the Lady Sandies...

Personal:
Currie is the daughter of Dean and Cyd Marusak and she has two siblings, Braden and Max.... Father (Dean) played football at Texas Tech and mother (Cyd) ran track for the Lady Raiders... Brother (Braden) played football at Texas Tech and brother (Max) played baseball at Texas Tech and Louisiana... She is expected to major in Health Science (Pre-Nursing) with a minor in Psychology...
