2016 (Junior):
Thomas had a great junior campaign for the Lady Buffs during her first season in Canyon in 2016. The San Antonio native saw time in 109 sets during 32 matches as she registered 192 kills (1.76/set) on 553 swings with 69 attack errors to hit .222 on the season with three assists, six service aces, 75 digs and 87 total blocks to average 0.80 per frame. Thomas registered double-digit kills on five different occasions in 2016 including a career high 12 against Southwestern Oklahoma State on September 3 during the BritKare Lady Buff Classic. 

At Seminole State College:
Thomas came to Canyon following two years at Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma where she played in the middle under head coach Jonea Rima. As a sophomore in 2015, Thomas played in 142 sets for the Trojans as she registered 2.30 kills per set on 790 total swings for an attack percentage of .225 while tallying 0.73 digs and 0.58 blocks per set.

At Roosevelt High School:
Thomas graduated from Roosevelt High School in San Antonio in 2014 where she played in the middle for the Rough Riders under head coach Lori Ybarra. Thomas played club ball for the San Antonio Force.
